The Old Hall is a charming renovated Jacobean house still lived in by the Morbey family. Set against the historic backdrop of Ely Cathedral – the Hall, The Cathedral Terrace Pavillion and gardens provide a unique setting for wedding breakfasts and evening receptions.

The Cathedral Terrace Pavillion – a stylish marquee, seats up to 150 guests for a wedding breakfast and 250 for an evening reception. It has a starlight roof,with floor to ceiling windows and doors that open onto a lawn where you can enjoy drinks, canapés and the magnificent Cathedral views.

You will get exclusive use of the venue for the day and we have three individually decorated bedrooms which are only available to the wedding party.

Catering for the wedding breakfast is one of the most important aspects of the wedding reception. You will be able to choose from the select list of approved caterers, who will ensure that an individual and memorable meal is served to you and your guests. A licensed bar will also be available. We also provide a further list of suppliers to help with all other aspects of the day e.g. Master of Ceremonies, florists, photographers.

Your wedding will be unique and very special and we shall personally supervise everything from start to finish, to ensure no detail is overlooked and you receive the service you deserve.

Please note, because we are a private house, we limit the number of events throughout the year.
