How to find The Old Hall

The Old Hall is on the outskirts of the village of Stuntney, 1 mile from Ely, approximately 16 miles from Cambridge City Centre,  11 miles from Newmarket and under 2 hours drive from London.  Ely train station has direct trains to London Kings Cross/St. Pancras  and the Eurostar terminal, journey time taking approximately 66 minutes.  There is also a direct train to London Stansted Airport.

Our post code is not accurate and will take you about a quarter of a mile beyond the entrance gates if coming from Ely. Please study the instructions below for a precise explanation of where to find us.

From  Cambridge/A10  direction

On approaching the first roundabout on the outskirts of Ely, take a right turn signposted A142/Stuntney/Ely Train Station.  Continue on the A142, under the railway bridge, over the river and out of Ely

Continue for approximately 1 mile, passing the first sign into Stuntney village on your right,  you will now see The Old Hall on the left-hand side on a hill.    The entrance to The Old Hall is after approximately  300 metres on the left hand side, with  wooden gates set back from the road.(If you’ve passed the second signpost into Stuntney then you’ve gone too far).

From Newmarket/A14 direction

Exit A14 at junction 37 signposted A142/Newmarket/Ely.  Follow A142 towards Ely/Stuntney. Go around the village bypasses of Fordham and Soham and on towards Stuntney.

Pass the first signpost into Stuntney village (on the left hand side) and the entrance to The Old Hall is after approximately 200 metres on the right-hand side, with the wooden gates set back from the road.

(If you pass  the second signpost into Stuntney then you’ve gone too far).
